Computer visual language
Bézier's design process embraces digital technology, which inspired us to use computer-like visual elements in our design. This is reflected in the clean navigation, button shapes, and tags, making the user experience on their platform intuitive and engaging.
GENERATIVE POSTERS
To better display the typefaces, we created a series of editable posters through the CMS, offering various layouts and sizes. These interactive posters allow users to view font details like size and weight, providing a practical demonstration of each typeface in use.
VARIABLE SUPPORT
Variable support is central to Bézier's fonts. We leveraged this by incorporating fun, smooth interactions that highlight the variable features of the fonts.
DESIGN SYSTEM IN LIGHT AND DARK MODE
Our design system supports light and dark modes with seamless color transitions. Bézier.com uses a custom backend and app router, TypeScript, Storyblok, Stripe and Storybook. Opentype.js enhances UI by tracing fonts with Bézier curves.
TYPE TESTER
Our platform includes a built-in type tester tool, available both standalone and as part of the product detail page. This allows users to experiment with Bézier’s fonts and see if they fit their intended use.
MOBILE FRIENDLY DESIGN
We ensured the type tester is fully functional on mobile devices, distinguishing us from competitors who often overlook mobile tester capabilities. This design and development choice enhances usability across all platforms.
IMMERSIVE BRAND FILM
We partnered with Services Generaux to produce bespoke content that embodies the brand. This collaboration kicked off with a moody brand film that meticulously captures Bézier's essence and craftsmanship, culminating in the reveal of their tagline.
HARMONISING CONTENT
Building on what Services Generaux provided, we created additional in-house content, harmonizing everything to make each typeface feel like it has its own distinct mini universe.
ILLUSTRATIVE CONTENT
In addition, we developed illustrative content to clearly visualize Bézier’s complex licensing options and services.
